the glass size is smaller than what’s in the windows I have right now.  I have sliders right now but want to install casement style windows for an updated, more modern look.  But I don’t want all that vinyl and the look isn’t real good either.  Help me!  I want a totally maintenance free window.  I want the look of wood but I don’t want to have to stain the wood.  And the cost of wood windows…well let’s just say I thought they are out of my price book.

My dear I.M.,

That’s quite a pickle you’re in.  But I think I have the solution.  This is really hot of the presses.  Restorations Windows, made in Temperance, Michigan has recently (March 1, 2010) introduced, rolled out the very best looking replacement casement window I have ever seen.  This truly is a game changer, a break through in the style of casement windows.  I don’t know how long they have been working on it but I am truly impressed!  And the sample I saw the other day at the Michigan Home & Garden Show at the Silverdome was gorgeous!..It had a thin profile, I think it was a cherry wood looking interior and rubbed bronze looking hardware.  Mike Wall told me I could get blinds in between the glass and still have a great energy savings glass package.  Something to do with three panes of glass.  Mike’s available at Kearns Brothers for free estimates………he asked me to put that in for him..something about him being somebody’s brother in law…

You got to check this window out!  It is a star!
